Apparently, I was brainwashed by my director.

As most of you know, I was recently in the play Sweeney Todd at my local theatre, the Manchester Arts Center ( the MAC.) This is possibly my favorite musical and I was honored to be a part of it. I worked with an very talented cast, a great stage crew, an amazing music director, and an awesome director: Aaron Brooks. It will have been a week ago tomorrow since our last performance, and I miss it very much.
I guess it impacted me a lot, because I will randomly say, think, and do things related to Sweeney Todd.
Example: I was at The Brew, and I sampled one of their fruit smoothies. It was DELICIOUS. In reaction to this, I sung/blurted out the phrase "God, That's Good!" (Those of you who have seen the play know which part I'm talking about.) I did this without thinking, and Paul, part of the stage crew and creator of these amazing smoothies, erupted in laughter.
I told one of my friends about this experience. Thay said my director had brainwashed me.
I have a feeling that I will be making references like the one mentioned above throughout the year and possibly for the rest of my life. Sadly, only the people who are familiar with the play will get them. To everyone else: you're going to be missing out.

I loved being in Sweeney Todd, and I hope that I will continue my work as an actor in many other great plays.

So... I finally made a blog

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I stopped procrastinating and made a blog. Since this is my first, I should tell you some things about myself.

My name is Ethan Willis. However, I will respond to "Hat Guy"* and "Hey, you."

I am currently on the EDGE newspaper staff at my high school, Coffee county Central High. I love it.

I made this blog while listening to "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and "I am the Walrus." You think I am joking. I am not.

I am not super savvy with computers, so I probably won't have a picture for a while (or at least until I call one of my friends who knows how to do this.)

At least once while you know me, I will pop up randomly out of nowhere and you will probably jump. Later on, you will learn to love the fact that I am a ninja.

My closer friends feel like family to me.

*Note: I will only respond to "Hat Guy" while wearing a hat. This will most likely be a fedora.
